I'm going to wait for a demo or the reviews come out before I touch this. I'm really not looking forward to this the last game was pretty bad, I honestly took little enjoyment out of the firearms and a mount and blade game in timeframe where they were universal doesn't appeal. Make good use of the links that I have pasted on this thread, or go ahead and reply with questions or what not. Want to know more? Does the soldier in you crave for more information and answers to many questions? Fear not. The enemy is holding their positions across water on an island or the mainland? No worries, you and your comrades can jump into a transportation boat and sail out towards the enemy. You can even transport artillery pieces from one place to another on the battlefield to make sure that your enemy will be under constant bombardment. The opportunity to build fortifications in order to “design” the battlefield in your favor. Destructible infrastructure buildings, fortifications, even real life-sized fortresses. Meet new people, train together, join arms in battles and fight for glory! You can even create your own regiment if you have what it takes! The opportunity to join a regiment, which is the specific type of a clan for the DLC. A well driven, friendly and organized community which hosts weekly official events. The opportunity to join large-scaled online battles with up to 250 players on a single map! Well-crafted maps where the environment offers you a delightful scene and a realistic feeling. A huge arsenal of weaponry, ranging from firearms such as muskets and rifles, to swords, bayonets and lances and even large weaponry such as howitzers and rockets. Regiments with flag bearers and musicians will receive a “morale” boost which consists of certain buffs that increase the regiment’s effectiveness in battle. The possibility to choose either to be a simple soldier within a regiment, a flag bearer or a musician to raise the morale of the troops or even be an officer where you command the regiment in battle. Many different types of units, such as militia, line infantry, skirmishers, light and heavy cavalry, dragoons, sappers/engineers, artillery such as cannons – mortars – howitzers and even rockets. Here is a list with some of the DLC’s features: Every faction will field many different units which are historically accurate to resemble the real types of units from the Napoleonic Wars, such as light cavalry, skirmish units, militia units and so on. The DLC brings the Napoleonic Wars back to life, with over 220 different units divided throughout 5 major factions France – Great Britain – Prussia – Russia – Austria. M&B: Napoleonic Wars is based around the Napoleonic era. But, have you ever wanted to have the possibility of controlling one of the soldiers on the battlefield and fight a huge battle as a simple infantryman, cavalryman, be in charge of the artillery or even command your own army? With M&B: Napoleonic Wars you have the chance to do just that!

If you have played games such as Empire/Napoleon Total War you will find that M&B: Napoleonic Wars is similar to those games in many ways.
